Tuition Assistance Opportunities

The Education Opportunities Act restricts tuition grants to K-12 students who live in an Iowa household, the total income of which does not exceed an amount equal to four times the federal poverty guideline.

You may be eligible to receive a grant from the Our Faith STO if your taxable income does not exceed the amount shown below for the number of people in your household. Students must attend a school represented by the Our Faith School Tuition Organization in order to be eligible. View the schools participating in the Our Faith STO program.
 

Qualifications

To be eligible to receive a grant from the STO program for 2023-24 the applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Submit a completed application to FACTS with a 2022 federal tax return and all required tax documentation.
• Reside in the state of Iowa.
• Attend a school represented by the "Our Faith School Tuition Organization."
• Have 2022 family taxable income at or below 400% of the federal poverty rate.
